We design tables that bring together marble, travertine, zellige and hand-finished metal, and every piece is made to order in Morocco, from the choice of the material to the crate it travels in. Our designs are simple on purpose: the material, the pattern and the proportions do the work. Made in Morocco does not mean that every raw material comes from Morocco: we do not state where a given stone or tile was quarried or made unless we have confirmed it for that piece.
What we make
Tables, in the sizes people actually live with: dining tables in oval, round and rectangular forms, coffee tables, console tables and side tables. Tops are made in marble, travertine or zellige, and many designs stand on sculptural metal bases. Surfaces are finished by hand.
Three materials, and metal
Marble is valued for its veining and the depth of its tone, from a soft honed matte to a deep polish. Travertine is warmer, with fine pores, a linear grain and gentle changes of tone. Both are natural stones: no two blocks are alike, and the variation is part of their character.
Zellige is not stone: it is glazed clay tile, cut into small geometric pieces and set side by side into a pattern. The glaze gives it deep colour and a soft shine, and the tone varies a little from one tile to the next. Metal bases are shaped and finished by hand, in a satin surface. How a piece is made
Stone is selected, cut, shaped and finished by hand. Zellige is assembled tile by tile. Metal bases are shaped and finished by hand. Every piece is inspected and packed in a protective crate before it leaves. See the sequence, step by step, on the craftsmanship page.

Because every piece is made to order, many of them can be adapted: the length, the width, the height, the material, the finish and the proportion of the base.
